How to install and use the Aox VPN browser extension

Browser extension: lightweight VPN solution

Don’t want to install a full-system VPN? AoxVPN provides a browser extension that only encrypts browser traffic and other applications are not affected.

Installation

1. Search for "Aox VPN" in the Chrome Web Store
2. Click "Add to Chrome"
3. Click the extension icon and log in to the AoxVPN account
4. Select the node and click Connect

Browser extension vs Client

• Extension: only encrypts browser traffic, lightweight and fast
• Client: system-wide encryption, protecting all applications

If you only need to access overseas websites in the browser, the extension is enough. If you also need to speed up games and protect the privacy of other applications, it is recommended to install the Aox VPN client.
